We would like to invite you to a vertical tasting of six different years of Paleo Rosso from Le Macchiole
Le Macchiole, produces most probably one of the best Cabernet Franc in the world (certainly in Italy) – Paleo Rosso. This exceptional wine, firstly made in 1989, is the symbol of this winery and represents authentic Bolgheri.
In the beginning it was a classic Bordeaux cuvée, but in 2001 it turned into a single-variety of Cabernet Franc, and since then it has celebrated great success. The name “paleo” comes from a wild plant that grows in Tuscany coastline, it represents the strength of local identity and the will to achieve all goals.
