Riesling tasting

Dear friends and wine lovers,

after a long pause, not caused by our fault, we have prepared a wine tasting evening for you, which will be marked by the royal variety - Riesling.

 

Riesling is one of the most popular white type, boasting a huge variety of flavors, styles and also an extraordinary potential to mature. It is justifiably called the wine of kings, and the king of wines. This time we will walk together through the most famous areas of Germany, but we will also look to Austria, France and the Czech Republic. Germany will introduce itself to us with all of its famous areas, ie Rheingau, Mosel, Nahe and Pfalz, and just the names of the winemakers are worth it - Willi Schaefer, Markus Molitor, Robert Weil, J.J. Prüm or Schäfer-Fröhlich, they all are quality assurance. From Austrian region Wachau, we will taste Riesling from the iconic F. X. Pichler and the representative of the Czech Republic will be Riesling Rynsky VOC from Sonberk winery. Last but not least, France will present its Alsace region, and Riesling from Meyer-Fonné.

 

During the evening, you can choose any meal at Monarch with 10% discount.
